The Way We Work
We teach small classes of people both the practical and theory-based parts of espresso making, in a real cafe environment, for our Professional Barista Course, with the opportunity to practice your skills after the course.
If you have a home machine, we can come to you for In-home tutorials so you can make excellent coffee for yourself and guests.
All of our courses and tutorials are run by skilled professionals who share a passion for excellence. We pride ourselves on the quality of our tutors, who each have a number of years' hands-on experience in their field of expertise in the coffee world.
A brief history
The Espresso Coffee School was established in 2004 with the aim of setting a standard of excellence. We'd noticed that the quality of espresso coffees being served weren't meeting expectations consistently.
The school was set up by cafe-owners passionate about teaching others how to master the product that affects so many lives every day! Over the last 6 years we've helped hundreds of students to build their coffee knowledge and passion to become specialists in this competitive field.
